About Sierra

My name is Sierra and I am a holistic nutrition student in Santa Cruz. I have 7 years of experience with child care, in various ages. The last few have been around 2 years old. I have experience in lots of different areas of teaching children as well, I lived and worked in San Francisco as an assistant/teachers aide in a rewilding/self sufficiency in the city after school kids program. In that program, we would do things such as forage ingredients for dishes we would later cook and build different kind of shelters in different locations, depending on what was available and the type of climate we were in. We also spent a week building a kid dreamed up cardboard city, that was really fun! I am passionate about communication, world travel, the forest, the ocean, playing outside, sewing, nutrition, herbs, plants, growing food, making my own things, healing, reading, kids, birth, making art, and exploring. I have a car and a drivers license and am a Santa Cruz local, so I know where some good spots to explore are!
