Hi, I'm Sierra! I have over 10 years of childcare experience, a psychology degree, an ECE certificate, and I'm CPR/First Aid certified. I'm a mama to a magnificent 3-year-old as well as a Master's student studying child psychology. Caring for a medically complex baby with severe food allergies has equipped me with specialized skills, including tube feeding, post-surgery handling, bandage care, epi-pen usage, medication administration, and specialized meal preparation. Being a mama myself, I understand the unique needs each family has and strive to ensure your family feels fully supported. Patience and gentleness are at the heart of my childcare philosophy, where I aim to meet each child where they are, creating a warm and supportive space that encourages exploration, socio-emotional growth, and a strong sense of security.
Sierra is an amazing care giver! She thought our son sign language and worked with him on developing his verbal skills and his speech improved dramatically! She integrated into our household very quickly and was an essential part of our son’s care team. Our son went to her house twice a week and got along great with Sierra’s son. Dropping him off was easy and the two of them played great together and we were always returned a happy and tired toddler, which was great! Sierra always had a great itinerary and took our son to the children’s museum and science museum. Our son had so much fun with her. Sierra also helped with dishes, laundry, and was always willing to take on more work to help out where ever she could. Her bright personality was a welcome addition to our household. I cannot recommend her enough and any family would be lucky to have her!
