My name is Sierra, and I just finished my second year of college at California Baptist. Since I was in elementary school, I pictured one day running a classroom of my own as a teacher. I have always had a passion for learning and from an early age, I found it rewarding to be able to have a hand in helping others find the same joy. From my time volunteering with and tutoring children, I have learned that teaching is where my heart is. It is rewarding to see when students understand a topic and a little light bulb goes off, and I hope that I can help more children have that kind of moment in the future.
