About Sierra

Hi there! I'm Sierra, and I'd love to get to know you! I have over six years of professional childcare experience including work as a CDA certified infant/toddler teacher, nanny, and house manager. I know all kiddos learn best through play, and I am extremely passionate about creating situational learning experiences through involving sensory exploration, creativity, and a love for the outside world. My skills include open, honest, and consistent communication with children and their adults, as well as successfully infusing education and language learning with play, and dedication to creating a nurturing environment while prioritizing productivity and time management. I am also currently enrolled in an ASL interpreter prep program, and I infuse my own learning and conversational sign fluency into all aspects of my caretaking! In my free time you can find me birding at the Montrose sanctuary, collaging, swimming, and attending local music performances. Let's go on an adventure!
