I am currently an Early Literacy Tutor at an Elementary School in Grand Junction. I help with phonics skills, sound awareness, letter-sound correspondence, and fluency with reading connected text. I work with Elementary level education only, as well as PreK. I nannied for several years and assisted with reading tutoring as well during that time. I love working with kids and believe that building a strong reading foundation will help your child be successful in their academics, and for the rest of their lives. From K-3rd grade, students are learning to read. After 3rd grade, they are expected to read to learn. If you have a solid foundation with reading, you can learn anything.
