About Sierra

I am an educator and consultant with a master's degree in Human Development and 20+ years of experience working with children and families. My academic and professional background has focused on child development, learning, and supporting children as they grow. I have also published academic chapters on adolescent development. For the first time in a very long time, I have some flexibility this summer and am excited to spend time creating fun memories with kiddos of all ages. I love engaging children through creative activities, educational games, immersive reading, puzzles, crafts, music and imaginative play! I bring a warm, patient, and consistent approach to childcare and am comfortable supporting children across all age groups. I value open communication with families and look forward to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can feel confident, curious, and cared for.
