I'm a full-time engineer with a master's degree in Data Science, but I've always really enjoyed working with children. I've been babysitting for over 16 years and have experience caring for children from newborns through age 12. Years ago I became certified as a first responder, including CPR and First Aid training, and completed required clinical hours in the emergency room. Safety has always been something I take seriously when caring for children. Those types of skills don't really disappear, but I can happily get recertified upon request. I especially enjoy teaching, playing, helping with homework, and watching kids learn and develop their own personalities and interests. I have a full-time engineering career, so babysitting is something I choose to do because I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and, of course, a little extra spending money doesn't hurt!
