About Sierra

I have been working with children for over 15 years. I have assisted, lead before and after school programs, been lead teacher in traditional daycares, as well as in a Primary Montessori classroom. I have more recently taken to the private homeschooling/ tutoring avenue and absolutely LOVE the one on one learning setting! :) I am a trained Montessori guide. I hold a Bachelors Degree in the field of Early Childhood Education and hold an Associate Degree in Child Development. Connecting with and understanding children, while helping them understand themselves and the world around them are of my greatest passions in life. I believe that the first seven years are the foundation and most important years that form who our children are going to be as they grow into adolescence and adulthood. I love to craft, adventure, nurture, spark curiosity in, explore, and learn with children while also setting up intentional situations that will help to do this!
