About Sienna

About me I'm a University of Kansas sophomore who loves helping young children feel confident in school. I have experience tutoring Math, English, and Spanish, plus several years of camp counseling and childcare. I'm seeking tutoring opportunities with children ages 4-10 in Lawrence and enjoy making learning comfortable, encouraging, and fun. I have experience tutoring children in Math, Reading, Writing, English, and Spanish, as well as helping with everyday homework. I've worked one-on-one with students who need extra practice, help understanding a difficult concept, or a little more confidence in their abilities. Through my tutoring, camp counseling, and childcare experience, I've learned that every child learns differently. I'm patient, positive, and encouraging, and I take the time to find an approach that works for each child. I explain things in ways that are easy to understand, celebrate progress along the way, and keep parents informed about how their child is doing.
