About Sidney

I currently work full-time as a Senior Direct Support Professional at a nonprofit in Baltimore, supporting both children and adults on the Autism Spectrum. I have hands-on experience managing high-level behaviors and using assistive technology devices to promote communication, independence, and daily living skills. Caring for children has always been a part of my life--my mom owned a daycare, and growing up I learned how to nurture, engage, and connect with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I'm comfortable adapting to each child's personality and developmental level, creating fun, enriching, and safe experiences.
