About Sian

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, enthusiastic, and curious. I love working with children because I genuinely learn so much from them. I studied sociology at UCLA with a strong focus on child development, and I believe early childhood is essential as we help shape the next generation. Children see the world with honesty and curiosity, and I find it incredibly rewarding to experience life through their perspective. I've been working with children since I was 16, starting as a part-time babysitter and through roles with the Ventura County Library. During college, I babysat and nannied throughout the year and worked as a full-time nanny during the summers. I've since worked as a full-time nanny in both live-in and live-out roles. I grew up in an athletic, sports-focused family and later explored creative outlets like photography and candle making. I enjoy learning what each child enjoys and nurturing those interests. I am very reliable, emotionally aware, and highly engaged.
