About Shumaita

Hello parents! My name is Maya, and I have been working with children and young adults for most of my professional career. My specialties include: Anything English/ELA related like reading comprehension, writing and grammar, phonics, even SAT reading prep. If your child is doing online learning, I can help them with any subject and assist in helping your child stay focused and get work done. I currently teach kids online part time, through an accredited tutoring company that is working in collaboration with YMCA. However, my hours are limited and thus I have large gaps in my schedule that I would love to fill by helping out other families in the neighborhood.
