I've always had a special sensitivity towards the special needs community. Since I was a young teen, I volunteered often in a wonderful organization called the Friendship Circle. This gave me the opportunity to work with children with various ( dis) abilities across the spectrum. My favorite job ever was helping out a family on my street with their adorable daughter with Downs Syndrome. I helped her get dressed and ready for school, put her on the bus in the morning and welcomed her home in the afternoon. I look forward to hearing from you and possibly helping your loved ones.
