I have experience with newborns-elementary aged kids. I moved to Richmond from California two years ago where I worked for a few families as a nanny, went to school for child development, and worked in daycare settings. When I moved to Richmond, I started my career as a lead teacher at a preschool where I helped infants, toddlers, and elementary school kids reach their milestones as well as help mold them into the people they want to be while encouraging them to find their personalities daily. I'm very goal oriented and I want to help parents achieve expectations they have for their kids/nannies all while having fun with the kids. I believe my personality helps me stand out as a nanny and an individual. I love to have fun all while enforcing rules necessary with the intention of being stern when called for. When it comes to discipline, I will never put a hand on a child nor yell at them with the intention to make them feel inferior. I believe in second chances and communication.

Shani is such a splendid woman! Her flexibility to my needs have made babysitting a breeze. She's almost always available, she's punctual, well mannered, and such a delight for my kids to be around. She helps me around the house and makes sure that my kids dishes and toys are cleaned up when she's in service. She always has a positive attitude and is so accommodating if my schedule may change. My children have formed a great relationship with her as well as I and she's someone I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
