About Shonna

Unlocking your unique potential is the foundation of my teaching approach. I create a supportive, patient environment where we tackle Math, Science, English, and test preparation together. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my strategies--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to match your specific needs. I believe in breaking complex problems into manageable steps, celebrating your small wins, and fostering critical thinking to ensure long-term success. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents to build trust and track your progress. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. With one year of experience and a college degree, I am ready to help you reach your academic goals. I truly look forward to embarking on this learning journey with you.
