Currently, I am semi-retired I was caring for two children in their home. They are aged 5 and 8. Due to the pandemic, the parents are transitioning to less nanny care. I am seeking 15 hours of work. I prefer before and after school care right when you need it. I cater to working parents that need a responsible person to care for their children. I was a Sunday school teacher, teaching children ages 2 to 4 about virtues (kindness, helpfulness, cleanliness, and caring). This is done through storytelling and crafts. I use these skills with the children that I care for if the parents approve. I am available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 2:30:to 6:00 p.m. (negotiable). Shirley was a wonderful caregiver for my 7 yo daughter. She was kind, loving and nurturing. She was always dependable. She got my daughter ready for school in the morning, picked up my daughter after school, cooked dinner, helped her with her homework, and got her ready for bed. She also took her to any outside activities, ballet class, dentist appointment, etc. I could always rely on her, even when my power went out, and I was at work. I felt very comfortable to leave my daughter in Shirley's care.
