Nurturing young minds and supporting families through reliable, compassionate care is important to me. My background includes a bachelor's degree in Social Work. Some classes I took were Early Child Development coursework. I ran a home daycare for 6 years. I retired from the state of MO after almost 25 years of service. Most if it involved working with foster children and their families. I was in involved in Children's Ministry at my home church for yesrs. My husband and I have been married 40 years. I am Grammy to 2 grandsons. I pride myself on being patient, kind, and approachable while caring for up to three children. Whether we are solving puzzles, playing board games, or working on creative crafts, I love making a positive impact on a child's day. I am happy to assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping, and I always follow your lead regarding household rules and communication preferences. I truly look forward to becoming a trusted partner in your family's daily life.
