About Shirley

Shirley was our nanny, caring for our son from the age of six months until he was eleven months old (a period of 5 months). She is absolutely incredible. She is a quick and highly receptive learner, always open to our feedback and willing to adapt to our specific routines. Her consistent dedication and focused attention to our son's needs gave us complete peace of mind throughout her time with us. She is highly reliable, patient, and genuinely the sweetest person. She brought a fun, positive energy into our home. We absolutely loved the deep bond she formed with our son during those key early months. Her approach to infant care was both nurturing and professional, and we trusted her completely. Beyond the basics (feeding, naps, and safety), she showed initiative by having lots of creative play ideas and activities for our son including taking him to the local library, grocery stores, and the aquarium. She also helped us introduce him to solids making various purees and tiny baby food portions of foods such as pancakes. She handled all responsibilities with competence and exceptional warmth. Unfortunately, our family unexpectedly ended up moving out of state, which meant her time with us had to end. We are genuinely sad to lose such a wonderful person and her presence in both our son's and our life will be missed. We wish her nothing but the absolute best going forward. 10/10 would highly recommend, would hire again, and any future families will be lucky to hire her.
