About Shir

Hi, I'm Shir! After graduating Temple university with a pre health major, I relocated to California and continued doing what I love most-working with children. I've been caring for kids since I was 16, starting with a year of volunteering at an elementary school. There, I supported students with their schoolwork, helped them navigate social and emotional challenges, and most importantly, offered a safe space to talk and feel heard. Since then, I've worked as a babysitter and full-time nanny for a wonderful family with three children under the age of three. I stayed with them up until I moved to California. I love connecting with kids, playing with them, teaching them new things, and watching them grow. Seeing a child reach a milestone-big or small-is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I strive to be a supportive, attentive, and joyful presence in every child's life.
