I started by taking care of my sister, then a few years later I started babysitting for a few family friends and eventually became a (live in) nanny of 3 great kids. I cooked, cleaned, spent a lot of time with the kids playing, feeding them, field trips, cleaning them up, getting them ready for bed, and reading stories before going to sleep. I currently work in a daycare/preschool and although I absolutely adore it I feel as though my passion for working with children is much better focusing on 1-4 kids rather than 15 in a classroom. I get along great with kids of all ages and am very patient. I can also help with any homework they might have. I really enjoy being around children and watching them learn and grow up.
