About Shira

For over 10 years, I've found immense joy in nurturing and caring for children. My previous babysitting experiences, coupled with my genuine desire to positively impact young lives and support families, led me to childcare. I am patient, creative, friendly, and approachable. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular text updates. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with kids. I am comfortable caring for one child between the ages of 0-11. I have a college degree, First Aid Training, CPR Training, and Early Child Development Coursework. As a certified registered nurse and doula, and certified newborn nurse I am well-versed in childcare. I am also happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family.
