About Shiondeita

Hi everyone! I'm a recent graduate student from the University of Iowa -- relocated to Chicago. My experience includes: - City of Dallas summer camp counselor (5-12 y/o) where I supervised 40 children and engaged their creativity through crafts and field trips across DFW. - Research assistant with the Growing Words Project where I assessed children (5-12 y/o) as their language developed over the span of 4 years. - Patient care technician at St. Luke's Hospital with my CPR certification. - Volunteered at Young Parent Network where I took care of children while parents were in classes. - Babysitter in Dallas where I worked with recurring families. In regards to my personal interests, I love to be active any chance I get whether that's jogging, spin class, or playing volleyball! Besides being active I enjoy baking and cooking random recipes I see online. When I have leisure time, I also love being able to relax on the couch and watch any movie/tv show.
