About Shimaine

Hi! My name is Shimaine, but you can call me Shi (pronounced "shy"). I'm a loving, fun, and patient caregiver with 10+ years of experience working with children and individuals of all ages. My journey began in middle and high school, babysitting for families in my community. In college, I worked for an on-call nanny agency, gaining hands-on experience with kids of all ages. I later became a CNA and direct care provider, assisting with daily living tasks, light housekeeping, and meal prep. Currently, I work as an RBT and am pursuing my BCBA certification, giving me a strong background in structure, positive reinforcement, and engaging learning. I love keeping kids entertained through games, crafts, and creative activities. As a dog owner, I'm comfortable with pets and happy to help in pet-friendly homes. I have a reliable vehicle, CPR certification, and a commitment to making life easier for families. Looking forward to helping however I can!
