About Sheyene

Sheyene has worked with my family for many years- first with my grandmother when she was near the end of her life, and then with my grandfather for around 6 years until his eventual passing. Throughout her care, she was professional, compassionate, dedicated, trustworthy, and developed deep and meaningful relationships with my grandparents and the rest of the family. She facilitated communication between the family, hosted meals/ get togethers at my grandparents' places to ensure that we were together, and was so kind, patient, and calm throughout it all. She took care of them night and day, oftentimes getting very little sleep herself to make sure they were comfortable and in a safe and clean environment. My grandparents felt loved and taken care of by Sheyene. She gave our family a true gift by being with us and made sure that a very difficult stage of life was filled with support, warmth, joy, and dignity. I am eternally grateful for her presence and for maintaining my grandparents' sense of community and self throughout their last years! She is a blessing for any family that is fortunate enough to have her as part of their care team.
