About Sheyan

I've been passionate about my work with children since I was a child myself! I was 15 when I took over my church's nursery. Since then, I've spent five summers loving life as an overnight camp counselor and working anywhere from after-school programs, elementary schools to mountain lab schools during the off seasons. I've lived a life devoted to Christ for just over six years now and while I'm absolutely comfortable talking about my faith, I am totally respectful of every household's beliefs. As a caregiver, I tend to focus on helping children develop emotional intelligence. My goal is to empower kids by giving them the tools they will require to navigate the world and contribute to it positively. I'd love to talk about what that would look like for your family!
