My name is Sherwin I am 49 years old and I am a certified nurse's aide. I have been providing care for the elderly for over eight years both in nursing homes and privately I have had experience providing care privately for patients suffering from dementia brought on by Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease, I have had experience providing care for patients who are confined to bed and need to be repositioned I have cared for patients with P. E. G tubes as well as bed sores and require wound care The services I provide include but are not limited to taking and recording patient vitals, patient hygiene, medicine reminders, taking patients to appointments, laundry, preparing meals and light house cleaning as it becomes necessary. I am also a holder of a New York state driver's license and I have my own vehicle, so I am able to transport patients to appointments if necessary.
