About Shervin

With 29 years of experience, I focus on building your confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your unique learning style by observing how you interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my approach using visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice. I keep careful watch on your engagement to ensure you feel supported through even the most challenging concepts. I believe clear communication with both students and parents is essential for setting expectations and tracking progress. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I hold a graduate degree and am eager to help you succeed in your English studies. I also tutor/teach Mandarin Chinese. I'm fluent, and read and write traditional characters. I look forward to helping you grow as a learner and celebrating your academic milestones together.
