About Sherry

As a mom to 2 teenagers, my life experiences have been varied and taught me to be flexible, multi-task and meet folks where they are. I studied in Salamanca, Spain, taught English as a Second language in the mushroom camps, worked as a victim advocate and designed/implemented safety programs for children and seniors as well as serving as a VBS Missions Coordinator. These opportunities often required me to build relationships based on trust, confidentiality and empathy and in some cases my goal was to help folks retain their dignity and independence. In the end, I believe we all want and deserve basic things regardless of our age. Compassion. Kindness. Respect. Connections to others. As my own children have gotten older, so have my parents and in-laws, which has given me a new appreciation for seniors' basic needs. I would love to talk about how we can work together to meet the needs of your loved one, whether it be housekeeping, errands, meal prep, laundry or companionship.
