About Sherry

Dear Families, I am a mother of two grown children with a lifelong commitment to caring for and supporting young people. I previously co-owned and managed Patagonia Orchards, where I developed strong skills in organization, communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. During that time, I also served for several years on the board of Patagonia Montessori School, volunteering with preschool and elementary-aged children through music and gardening and supporting hiring and fundraising efforts. I hold a Master's degree in Information Resources & Library Science and a Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature. I enjoy reading, storytelling, creative learning, and have intermediate proficiency in Spanish. My experience began as the oldest of six siblings and has included nannying, coaching AYSO soccer, and serving as a reading tutor and program leader. I am attentive, patient, and proactive about children's safety and emotional well-being.
