I adore children and have 20+ years of experience, caring for infant to grade school ages. The past year I have cared for a smart & lively 16-month-old, but preschool starts in June, so I am looking for my next adventure! I'm searching for the perfect long-term job with another wonderful family. I specialize in infants and toddlers. In my 5 most recent positions, I've cared for 3-6-month-old infants. Talking, singing, playing, and reading are just some of the ways I ensure I am providing the appropriate level of mental and physical stimulation. Part of my responsibilities are to help ensure the children learn every day and meet their milestones. I am a CPR and First Aid certified NON-smoker. Sherry was our son's nanny from ~6 months until he started daycare at 15 months and we all adored (and still adore) her! She is thoughtful, kind, generous, and conscientious--in general and in matters related to childcare--and will be a true partner to you and your family, not just when it comes to caring for your kiddo(s), but on other fronts, too: we were recent transplants from the city to the ‘burbs for my husband’s job and she went above and beyond when it came to introducing us to other parents, recommending things to do out here, etc. Our son is excited to see her every morning, enjoys playing with her and exploring with her by his side. I know we will hire her often as a babysitter in the months ahead!
