About Sherrilyn

Hi! My name is Sherrilyn, I'm a full-time student at Baruch College, currently in my junior year and majoring in psychology. As a college student, I have open availability to work. My hourly rate is $20 - $23. I'm Dominican and can fluently speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish. I absolutely love working with kids and have years of experience caring for children ages 3 and up, though I'm happy to work with kids of all ages! My childcare journey began when I was 10, helping my babysitter care for other children. Later, I spent a year caring for my cousin's daughter when she was 5. I've also been referred by my cousin to her friends and their families. I'm CPR-certified and have always knew I wanted to work with children, this also helps me get experience with healthcare because I want to be a child counselor in the future. I'm also an animal lover, cat and dog friendly, so if you have pets, I'd love to care for them too.
