For the last decade, I've been privileged to provide live-in, hospice, and dementia care dressing changes when needed., I am a retired nurse of 27 years.. My experience with many types of nursing alone over the years has been valuable for what the day may bring. I'm skilled at de-escalating stressful situations, managing confusion, and incorporating creative personable, memory care activities. I understand the importance of learning about each person's unique history and preferences. I communicate with families through daily reports and always respect their preferences. I have a car so I can run errands, also bring you to appointments. I'm comfortable with pets. I am passionate about supporting independence and providing families with peace of mind, and I look forward to bringing my dedication and experience to you or loved one. I enjoy cooking as well, and don't mind light housekeeping.
