My experience is varied and has included providing home care, hospice care, working at a DVC, supporting children with special needs within and outside of the school system, working at an after-school program with elementary-aged kiddos. I currently serve as a chaplain as well as a care provider at a day program for adults with disabilities and am a certified life coach. I believe it is a blessing to care for someone who may not be able to care for themselves. I am naturally empathetic, patient, and have a sense of humor which I find can go a long way. I have personal experience as a caregiver to a family member (many over the years actually), which has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges caregiving can bring-not only for the person receiving care, but also for their family. I understand how important it is for families to have someone they can trust to provide compassionate care that can help their loved ones thrive.
