About Sherrena

I bring over eight years of experience in education, including five as a classroom teacher, working with students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Currently, I focus on college and career readiness, using diverse instructional strategies to support student growth. I'd describe my personality as dependable, enthusiastic, and honest. I like tutoring because I am passionate about tutoring because it allows me to support young learners in building confidence and developing the skills and strategies they need to succeed academically. I find it deeply rewarding to contribute to their growth and long-term success. I started tutoring four years ago. In my spare time, I like to read books, bake, and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I am very dedicated and supportive of the families that I work with.
