About Shernice

Hi! My name is Shernice, and I'm a caring, dependable, and patient childcare professional with years of experience working with children in school and youth program settings. I've worked as an elementary school substitute teacher and in a leadership role with the Boys & Girls Club, creating safe, structured, and fun environments for children. I believe childcare is more than simply watching kids. I enjoy keeping them engaged through games, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor fun, and age-appropriate learning activities. I'm also happy to help with homework, meals/snacks, and daily routines. As a mom myself, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your child. I'm attentive, organized, encouraging, and big on communication with parents. Every child is different, and I enjoy getting to know their personality and helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
