About Sherise

Nursing student with experience caring for children and the elderly. I was raised in a large family where caregiving was a part of our daily lives. So, it's no surprise that my background has involved one form of caregiving or another. I'm a former crisis counselor who is currently pursuing my RN to combine my loves of caregiving and mental health. From my mental health work, I have experience working with clients with cognitive and behavioral challenges, as well as experience with demntia and memory-related issues. As a part of nursing journey, I have received a certificate in home care training and have been working as a home care aide for the past six months. (I am expecting CNA certification this fall). This diverse background means that I am skilled and experienced in wide range of caregiver services (e. g. child care, home care, elder care, nursing care).
