I'm a registered nurse with extensive pediatric nursing experience. Recently retired, I would love to continue caring for children in a more personal setting. I'd describe my personality as patient, nurturing, and dependable. My pediatric nursing experience has taught me the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and valued. I'm looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity that allows me to stay active. I started working with children in 2001 as a pediatric home care nurse, providing skilled nursing care to children with chronic medical conditions. In my spare time, I like to garden, travel & renovate old things. I'm a compassionate, dependable nurse who genuinely enjoys caring for children and giving parents peace of mind. My top three child care skills include providing a safe and nurturing environment, engaging children in age-appropriate activities, and offering patient, compassionate care tailored to each child's needs.
