Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I was a part-time nanny for about 2.5 years for one toddler and then a toddler and infant when his baby sister arrived. I worked for a Daycare Center for 2 years and have experience with all age groups (infant-school age). I have been a day camp counselor and music teacher (piano, guitar and percussion) for various children ages K-6 and I'm a certified lifeguard with First Aid and CPR training. Outside of my professional experience, I have 4 nieces and one nephew that I love spending time with. I am a strong advocate for both emotional and cognitive development and will plan activities that cater to both.
