About Shennel

Hi Parents! My name is Shennel. I'm a college student, soon-to-be certified lifeguard, and a jack of all trades. As someone who was raised by a single parent, most of my HS years consisted of staying home to help raise my siblings. I also spent 2 years with AmeriCorps working with preschoolers who spoke little or no English. For your family, I can cook, do light laundry, run errands, sit through practices/lessons, etc. I pick up on what kids need, whether they're quiet or bursting with energy, I'll make sure they feel validated. I connect easily with all ages. I'm into books, movies, nature strolls, ceramics, gaming, sports, etc. I'm flexible with household rules too. Whether that means no-tech days, park trips, or quiet playtime, I'll always respect how your family operates. + For families raising their children in faith, I'm happy to include prayer before meals, Bible stories, and Christ-centered conversations to help your kids grow in love and understanding of Him.
