About Shemaiah

Hi! I graduated from PCS Early College High School in May of 2024, and have been perusing engineering at PCC since. I am transferring to ECU in the fall. I have been around animals and young children my entire life. I also have previous experience working at a pet store. When caretaking, I believe it is important to maintain a balance of structure, fun, and creativity. Additionally, I am CPR trained (not certified) and willing to obtain any necessary training or certifications. My tutoring experience has primarily been family and close friends. I am very patient and love using multiple tools and examples to help convey concepts. I believe that it is very important to meet people where they are in their learning journey, and build their understanding from the ground up. In my spare time, I like to play piano, spend time with my animals, and learn new things about the world.
