Hello, I've always enjoyed being around and helping elderly. They are my "comfort zone", so to speak. I have also had a lot of experience with the beginning to mid-stages of Dementia. I went to CCSN-for my CNA, in 2002. Updated Cert in 2014. Worked for 2 agencies (having a wide range of clients with all different needs). I've been independent for 10+yrs. Shelly was hired to assist a friend of the family, Robbi who had a brain injury and even though tasks and daily items were on a list we made together, she was confused and forgetful which made for a bad mix. One of Robbi's "friends" decided to write a review on Robbi's behalf - which is NOT accurate in any way, shape or form. The circumstances of being hired were inaccurate: 1) Robbi was not in the hospital - she was at home and part of the hiring process online and in person interview before Shelly was hired. 2) I am not and never have been an employee of hers and didn't hire Shelly - she did. 3) Shelly was asked to drive her to the grocery store, Dr, etc. which was part of why she was hired. 4) Going shopping for shoes was also discussed - this was turned into a negative comment in the review. The review makes no sense. There are so many discrepancies. Suffice it to say that you should kindly disregard that review knowing these facts.
