About Shelley

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, kind, responsible. I like caring for seniors because I was raised by my grandparents and I admire & respect seniors. Seeing them happy brings me joy. I also enjoy young children as I was a child abuse prevention home visitor with early head start & head start. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to help others with a flexible schedule. I started caring for seniors when I lived with my grandparents. I was also a home prevention visitor and many seniors had guardianship over their grandchildren. I worked with them in a professional setting and encouraged them to explore their resources within their communities. In my spare time, I like to do yoga, swim, be in nature, attend concerts & dance. One thing you should know about me is I'm prior military and I am disciplined and responsible, yet compassionate. My skills include listening and encouraging them. Helping them with light household tasks.
