About Shelley

My name is Shelley! I am a recent graduate from Clemson University, with a degree in elementary education. I am looking to tutor students this summer to help them smoothly transition into the upcoming school year! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, enthusiastic, and determined. I like tutoring because I can help students based off their specific needs, by building relationships and getting to know them! I'm looking for a job that will continue to help build on my experience as a teacher. In my spare time, I like to find new restaurants to try, go to country concerts, and travel! One thing you should know about me is while I don't have experience in private tutoring, I have completed a year of student teaching. During this experience I worked with students across multiple age groups and different learning abilities. I also have lots of experience working in afterschool care, which has helped me to learn how to build relationships with students.
