Good day! My name is Shelley. I'm Cherokee, born and raised in Oklahoma. I have experience as a deputy sheriff, a non-profit executive, and a special education teacher. I have a degree in liberal arts, political science, and will finish my masters in education in May of 2026. I then plan to attend law school. I'm a certified teacher for grades 1 through 8, and I'm certified in mild/moderate & severe/profound education for grades K through 12. I adopted my niece and nephew and care for my aging mother. Service to my community and building a village is where my heart is called. I'm seeking fairly stable work to transition from traditional work / life balance. I'm able to do it all and I don't mind taking care of a few extra things around the house. Ideally I will find 2 or 3 families to provide regular and ongoing service.
