About Shelley

I enjoy being with older people and spent the last 10 years of my 40 year hairdressing career exclusively with the senior population. I feel they are a treasure that many people don't appreciate enough. I have four grown children, married, two dogs a cat and a home. I enjoy traveling. I have recently retired so I have a little time I'd like to start something new. I would like to be a positive caring presence in your loved one's life as a companion. I enjoy listening, and feel everyone has a fascinating story to tell. I like caring for seniors because they have a large perspective on life with insight to offer when someone is interested. I'm looking for a job that is agreeable with my personality and yours. I started caring for seniors when I had a hair salon in a senior living community. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, walk, paint, exercise, cook, bake and write- I love clothes too. My skills include attentiveness, and patience.
