I am a certified Secondary Science Teacher, licensed EMT, registered medical assistant, Handwriting without Tears specialist, home-school mom of 1. I have been homeschooling my son since Kindergarten. He will be 16 in the Fall. It has been my pleasure to have the ability to home-school my son since the beginning. I have assisted him in becoming an independent learner over the last few years. This year we are focusing on further developing our emotional intelligence. I am familiar with the zones of regulation through my son's OT therapy. With homeschooling there are many joys and many struggles you encounter daily. Your day can change rapidly depending on what kind of day the child is having and how they are processing sensory information that particular day or moment. The skills that I believe I have developed over time is the ability to state information in a variety of ways to help my students understand the material and meet their individual learning style.
