About Shelley

I'd describe my personality as creative, silly, empathetic. I like working with kids because not only is it rewarding but they remind me that the simplest joys in life can be the greatest, no matter how minuscule they may be. I'm looking for a job that is consistent weekly & can provide up to 32 hours a week. I started babysitting for my neighbor in 6th grade. In high school I volunteered teaching at my church's sunday school and mentoring for the local WyldLife youth group. I had nannied in my early college years. In my spare time, I like to make jewelry, paint, photograph, read & write. I'm passionate about helping people, animals and nature. I like seeing the humor in life, for it makes it all the better. Some of my top child care skills are creating a fun interactive environment, patience, understanding and problem solving. I've been nannying for a precious 13-month-old and it has been so wonderful to see her grow!
