I decided I wanted something more personal, for example, getting to know the patients I was working with. I interviewed at Mary Bryant Home for the Blind in 2002 and was hired. I loved my job there. The residents became more than my residents; we became friends, and I'm proud of what I achieved there and my 23 years of dedication.
