About Shelita

Hi! I'm Shelita, and caring for children has been a big part of my life for many years. I started caring for younger siblings and family at a young age and began getting paid to babysit at 16. I'm a mom to a wonderful 10-year-old and regularly care for my nieces, nephews, godson, and friends' children. I have several years of professional childcare experience as a Lead and Assistant Teacher, working with infants through school age, including groups of four or more. I'm also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with experience supporting children with autism and developmental needs. I'm patient, creative, attentive, dependable, and genuinely love working with children. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, understood, and given a fair chance to grow and become whoever they want to be. I enjoy creating fun, meaningful experiences and being part of their journey. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, spending time with my daughter and family, and caring for my malshi.
