About Shelissa

Hi! I have 20 plus yrs of experience caring for children from infants through teens. Recently, I worked as a Special Education Paraeducator supporting K-9th grade students in both special ed and general education settings. I also worked closely with visually impaired students and completed specialized training through the WA State School for the Blind. My background includes nannying, babysitting, childcare programs at the YMCA, summer childcare, swim instruction, and caring for infants and toddlers. I was also a live-in nanny for my niece from infancy to toddlerhood and continued to help care for her and her brother during summers. We love the library, parks, art and crafts, museums, and video games. I am caring, dependable, calm, and fun. I enjoy helping children feel safe, supported, and engaged through activities, play, learning, and routines. I can help with transportation, infant care, routines, homework and meals. I'm currently seeking part-time babysitting/nannying.
